I stopped here for lunch at a friend’s recommendation. It happened to be Diwali and so I had the holiday special. The food and mocktail that came with it were phenomenal. In particular, the special came with biryani and it was the best I’ve ever had, though the gobi was also great. The atmosphere was extremely relaxing and my server Raj really went above and beyond to make the meal extra enjoyable. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Highly recommended for the vibe and lovely service, the best authentic Indian food i’ve had recently. The service was great and he also made changes according to our taste. We were also offered a very delicious complementary tomato soup the moment we sat down on our reserved table.I have stayed in the UK for 3 years and had food at lots of Indian restaurants but this is the first place to offer any welcome soup/food.

We visited this restaurant tonight, we are massive fans of Akbars restaurants and we’re in Edinburgh for 4 nights with no Akbars, so after looking at several different Indian restaurants reviews we decided to book Chaskaa Indian Restaurant.
Both my Partner and I absolutely loved the place, from the cleanliness to the staff and the amazing food.
So happy we decided to eat here, honestly, if you appreciate a good curry and enjoy flavoursome food this is the place for you.
We will 100% return when we are next in Edinburgh, we may even make the 3 hour journey here just for this food.
