Fantastic food, atmosphere and service. We absolutely enjoyed the food. The mocktail Chaska special with a hint of chilli was excellent. Chicken 65, Chicken tikka, tandoor Murgh, Hyderabadi biriyani, Chicken Karahi were very delicious. The service was exemplary and we had fantastic experience. We will come back again and will not hesitate to recommend.

The food here has amazing flavor and was excellent!! The staff is very pleasant and insures that all your needs are meet. I can not recommend them enough. If you are anywhere near this restaurant it is a must have in my book. We love it so much we ate there both nights we were in Edinburgh. I recommend the Chicken Karachi, the Murgh Murgh Makhanwala, Tikka chicken appetizer. The garlic cheese Naan was crazy good. I don’t think you could go wrong with anything here.

Found this Restaurant next door to our hotel, loved it so much we went back two nights in a row. Very good food, excellent service and friendly staff.The chicken karahi was the best I’ve ever had. Chicken Grill was incredible.Thank you so much 😊 for your hospitality we,ll back soon when I’ll come to Edinburgh again.

We went there after reading reviews definitely did not disappoint.it was absolutely stunning experience great choice of Indian food we had Punjabi murgh and Ginger honey prawn followed by cheese and garlic naan it was delicious 🤤We had great time and the staff was friendly and energetic must visit Restaurant.

Great food, very tasty. It was very busy, staff seemed a little frantic. We were seated by the door in the corner so didn’t really feel much of an atmosphere but if you want nice food before moving on to somewhere else, this is your place

Food was amazing! We had a delicious monk fish curry, the fish was very tender and nicely charred and also had a very generous mixed grill. The mango lassi and pappadums with homemade chutneys were also very tasty. Staff was attentive and very friendly.

I ate at the Chaskaa on Sunday 14/04/24 whilst on an overnight stay in Edinburgh. The place was clean, quiet and well laid out with good subdued lighting. The staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive to diners. I had poppadoms followed by a Samundry Karahi curry with garlic naan and mushroom rice. The food was well presented and exceptionally tasty; probably the best fish curry I have ever eaten. It was a little pricier than other Indian restaurants in the area but well worth the extra money for such a lovely experience. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Edinburgh and would highly recommend the Chaskaa.

You'll have an amazing time here! The food is amazing and deliciously fragnant. I had Punjabi Murgh, one of the chef's specials, deliciously balanced earthy flavour with fantastic spice levels. My wife had Chicken Korma and rated it the best she'd had. Her mom had an amazing Biryani with lamb. We were there to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday, and the staff presented her with a complimentary dessert, candle and singing included. The service was fantastic and we received suggestions for our weekend in Edinburgh. Thanks so much!

This place has really great Indian food. We started with pappadums and five dipping options followed by lamb biryani and murgh kali mirch both of which were reeally tasty; not sure what the rest of the party got, but they were extremely pleased as well. We allso had a very nice Malbec to go with thhe meal.Suchithra (our server) was attentive and helpful, and steered us right when it came to level of spice (which varied greatly in our party).Would definitely eat here again.

We visited this restaurant tonight, we are massive fans of Akbars restaurants and we’re in Edinburgh for 4 nights with no Akbars, so after looking at several different Indian restaurants reviews we decided to book Chaskaa Indian Restaurant.
Both my Partner and I absolutely loved the place, from the cleanliness to the staff and the amazing food.
So happy we decided to eat here, honestly, if you appreciate a good curry and enjoy flavoursome food this is the place for you.
We will 100% return when we are next in Edinburgh, we may even make the 3 hour journey here just for this food.
